De Apotheose van Flore
Mundo Magico – Making of
Pastorale – The Making Of
Strangers in the Night
It’s been two years since my last book: Caught in a tale, still selling on Blurb. During those two years, you witnessed my pictures becoming more and more elaborate, with more actors and more complex situations and themes. Technics became more sophisticated, with the move to Phase One and the Schneider-Kreuznach lenses, but the stories remained. Because I consider “the Apotheosis of Flora” to be a new milestone in my work, it was time for a new book, and that is “In illo tempore…”. It could also have been titled “Once upon a time…”, because it’s taking place in the same undefined time where fairytales, myths, gospels and fables take place, but I finally chose this one because it’s more sacred and more ritual, and you’ll find traces of that in works like “War of the Roses” or “Amor aeternum”.
This time, art connoisseur Lies Daenen enriched the book with an in-depth text that guides you to the inspirations, the motives, the approach…, in Dutch, English and French. The book is being printed by Art Printing House Lamine in Herent as we speak, with the most advanced hybrid screening technology available, on a silk paper of 170 gr and with a laminated soft cover of 300 gr. The book is in A4 format, counts 100 pages (including the cover) and includes more than 50 pictures, most of them page filling and almost half of them as recent as 2013.
So do you want to give yourself a Christmas or New Years treat? Send me a mail on firstname.lastname@example.org with your address in it and I’ll tell you how you can get hold of it. The book itself costs no more than 40 euros, and I’ll find out the most economic shipping for you.
From “In illo tempore” with love!
